Whilst Ravens have been regarded as omens of death, war, and bad luck to some, they have also symbolised protectors, creators of light, fire, magick, and change to others. In the Pacific Northwest Native mythology Raven is the bringer of light to the people. Change within our lives often invites us to look at both the dark and light in ourselves or a situation. Change is the ending of one thing (death) and the beginning of something new (creation). Ravens spiritually help us to let go of our obstacles so we can find new magick in our lives guiding us through dark into light and helping us to be courageous on that journey in new places new ideas and new experiences.
